I have been blogging for many years. I have bounced around to different tools because I always want to use the “new thing”. That is when I found CoSchedule, almost a year ago. I was in awe of this amazing tool when I starting watching the video tutorials and reading about what it can do. I love that it can schedule to Facebook Pages, Twitter, LinkedIn Profile and Company Pages. You can do BOTH your blogging and social media posts RIGHT from the CoSchedule app inside of your WordPress site. CoShedule will even choose the best photo for your posts, if you want it to.
Other features I love about it are:
• I can even use it on my iPad or iPhone (I use the website) to schedule social posts on the go (Click here to see the image)
• I can see the Top Posts and share them again! (If they are evergreen and still relevant)
• It connects with my Evernote (Hello, Evernote IS my brain) and I can pull in my posts from there since I write everything there first
• I can assign tasks to my team
I go through my content calendar on a monthly basis and create all of my social media posts for the month. I then go into Evernote and write ALL my blog posts for the month and figure out what I will do my podcasts on. Next I create all the graphics (5 for each network) and then when they are ready, I move them over and get the social media posts scheduled for everything.
BONUS LOVE: Here is a scenario: You write a post, create the graphic and schedule it. Then you go to Facebook, Buffer or another platform and create your social post with the URL, you get a “URL not found” block. You hope that your post will look good on the date it goes out. With CoSchedule, it is RIGHT inside of WordPress, so you can KNOW that the post is just like you want it when it publishes.
Not good at writing headlines? They have a headline analyzer tool, which help you create better headlines and that encourages more people to want to read your blog post!
You can also go in and add the “Click to Tweet” button for a nice graphic to add to your blog. You can put it exactly where you want it and it is easily seen. I have heard people say that with the tool that gives you a LINK, that is easily missed and with “Click to Tweet”, the graphic is big and makes it easy to click on it. (See sample below)
As a blogger, social media manager and consultant, I highly recommend CoSchedule to ANYONE who wants higher converting blog posts or social media posts. It is used WITH and WITHOUT WordPress and you can easily manage the blog if your team helps you. Whether you are a one post type of person, or you like to schedule the same posts to go out for 3 months, 6 months, or a year, you will LOVE this app!
